Defamatory language about a person, school, instructor, health care facility, or entity is prohibited. Posts containing materials that violates any law or is invasive of a person’s privacy will be taken down.
We encourage members to have constructive and polite discussion with each other. Please avoid name-calling and hate speech. We will not tolerate any insulting language and personal attacks. Moreover, discrimination, racial vilification and offensive generalizations targeting people of other religions, races, and/or nationalities will not be tolerated.
Foul Language / Profanity:
Any kind of written text that you would not say in front of a group of professionals should not be posted on Lab-Ask. Lab-Ask staff reserves the right to edit offensive language. (Including profanity cleverly disguised – such as different spelling or a mixture of letters and symbols.)
Information About Others:
You should not post any potentially defamatory information about specific organization, schools, instructors, or health care facilities/entities in the forums and comments.
Advertising / Self Promotion:
Promotion or advertising of any website, email address, businesses, multi-level-marketing, personal blogs, or other entities that you have an affiliation with is banned.
You are not allowed any form of commercial advertising in posts, avatars, or signatures.
Soliciting or coercing others to join other community websites through posts, email, PM, use of Lab-Ask membership list or any other resource within the Lab-Ask is not allowed. Links to other websites are allowed under the informational circumstances.
Please do not upload, attach or post anything that is copyright or licensed without prior agreement of the owner. I.e. if you want to post content or articles from other websites, you should not post the whole content or article. Instead, you can post a partial synopsis, and then a link to the source.
Please do not request or post materials that are protected by copyright law such as test questions, test preparation materials, test bank codes, or post links to, or use this site to send or request via email or pm such material. WE WILL BANN THOSE POSTING THAT NEGLECTS THE COPYRIGHT MATERIAL.
You may not post for marketing or commercial research. Member’s account may be closed by posting marketing or commercial research materials.
Using Professional Titles:
Professional titles, i.e. ASCP, MD, DR., RN, MA, etc, shall not be used unless you are actually licensed as professional title. If you have chosen a user name that reflects an unjust professional title, you should contact us for verification process.
You can always use the “search” feature to find topics of interest, so do not try to spam forums with multiple posts.
Lab-Ask is based in the United States and much of our membership is English speaking. Since we are unable to moderate threads in other languages, we ask that communications be in English for the ease of use.
Disagreements with Policies or Staff Decisions:
You agree not to argue about policies or moderating decisions in the public forums. If you disagree with a policy or a decision, you may respectfully post your comments in private in the Admin Help Desk. You will not gather petition in the forums to change policies.

Breach of Terms of Service
In the case that a user does not follow these guidelines or for any other reason the Lab-Ask team feels is not appropriate, our staff will remove/ edit the posts or disable the accounts who violated the rules.
Please keep in mind that requests for account removal will entail removing personal data such as location, avatar, signature, etc. to protect the privacy of the person but the member account will remain intact because of the nature of the threading of posts within the database.
Please note, our admin do have the ability to read private messages and do so ONLY when investigating complaints and harassment issues.

We have two types of information gathering in our website. First, information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions.
